This was my "doodle book", which is pretty much the same as a sketchbook but I took it less seriously. It was made for quick sketches as opposed to the experimental sketches/artwork I did in my 2020 sketchbook.
You will notice that I only drew on one page and never did whole spreads. The reason was that the pages were sooo thin, it wasn't made for drawing.
One purpose with this one was to practice my pen confidence. For you who don't know what that is, it's exactly what it says it is. How confident you are when drawing with a pen, which you can't erase. If you make a mistake, you've made it, and if you need to fix it you can use post it notes and try again. Yes the anatomy will be wonky, the proportions will be fucked, it will look like hell in there, but that's the point. You don't have to show this to anyone, it can be private like a diary. There is so much in there that I didn't feel like sharing online lmao.
